Easter Weekend.

I thought rather than updating every day, i'd just do a blog for the whole weekend :)

Good Friday:
After making a picnic, Me and Andrew took Bethany and Chloe on the field with the dogs. We flew Bethany's kite and let the dogs run around before going back home for our lunch. Chloe had a nap while me and Bethany watched the end of Camp Rock and then 101 Dalmations. (I'm confused, I don't know how to spell it anymore because i'm used to spelling it 'Dollamation'... thanks Jedward!). My sister told me it's tradition to eat fish on Good Friday, so I made herb crusted cod with pea and parsley puree and chips :)

Saturday:
The highlight of my Saturday was my Nanna buying Nuts magazine. LOL. A girl standing next to her at the magazine stand looked so weirded out! We went shopping then I pimped her scooter and we walked home in the rain. I made some lunch and we watched Diagnosis Murder, then I snuggled up with my puppy - Rosie and fell asleep. The rest of the evening was pretty boring but I made a lovely Weightwatcher's Chicken Tikka :)

Easter Sunday:
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and got lots of yummy eggs! I got a Toy Story egg from my Nanna and a Caramel egg from my sister. I also got presents from my friend John. He got me the Series 1 box set of One Tree Hill, a book called 'PUSH' (which I read in 3 hours!) and another DVD, 'The Proposal'.

Bethany and Chloe's Eggs:

I arranged a little easter egg hunt for Bethany and Chloe and my dad joined us for dinner. I made a lovely roast dinner, the chicken was flavoured with lemon, garlic and herbs, which also made the yummiest gravy ever!

Andrew took Bethany and Chloe out after lunch so when my dad had gone home I finished my wine and played on the 'Boogie Superstar' wii game, then had a nice little nap.

Bank Holiday Monday:
We didn't do anything on Monday but if I don't mention the steak I made for my sister and brother-in-law she might cry! haha. I made steak basted in garlic butter for them and I had salmon, plus we had a selection of new potatoes, baby carrots, sweetcorn and peas. Delicious!
